What is TEDx?

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDx Narayana eTechno S Youth, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDx Narayana eTechno S Youth event, TED Talks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.

At TEDxNarayana eTechno School 2026, we believe that transformation doesn't always arrive with fanfare. Sometimes, it begins quietly - with a single idea, a brave choice, or a small step that sets everything else in motion.

"The Shift Starts Here" is an invitation to explore the power of subtle beginnings. From science to art, technology to human connection, history shows us that the biggest changes often grow out of seemingly insignificant actions. Our speakers will share personal stories, breakthrough ideas, and unexpected perspectives that show how small shifts in thinking, behavior, or approach can lead to profound and lasting impact.

Aligned with our tagline, "Small steps. Big change.", this event will challenge audiences to recognize and act on the opportunities that lie right in front of them - to start where they are, with what they have, and to trust in the ripple effect of their actions.

Whether it's reimagining education, rethinking sustainability, innovating in technology, or transforming communities, TEDxNarayana eTechno School 2026 will showcase voices that inspire immediate, actionable change.

This is more than an event. It's a movement.

About TEDx

TED is a nonprofit organization devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. Started as a four-day conference in California 30 years ago, TED has grown to support its mission with multiple initiatives. The two annual TED Conferences invite the world's leading thinkers and doers to speak for 18 minutes or less. Many of these talks are then made available, free, at TED.com.
